Terms of Service

For Otto Build, Otto Grow, Otto Guard and this website · Last updated 28 October 2026

In short
  • Otto is three Discord bots — Otto Build, Otto Grow and Otto Guard — plus this website and dashboard.
  • Use them within Discord's own rules. Only add them to servers you are allowed to manage.
  • Otto Build only changes your server after you approve it, and changes can be undone. Still: keep your own copies of what matters.
  • Free to start. Premium is per server; you can stop any time.
  • Questions or problems: the contact link at the bottom of this page.

1. Who we are

These terms are an agreement between you and the team behind Otto (“we”, “us”), who run Otto: the Discord bots Otto Build, Otto Grow and Otto Guard, this website and the dashboard where you manage them. By adding one of the bots to a Discord server, signing in on this website or ordering something, you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains what data we use and why.

2. Using Otto

3. What the bots do

Discord itself limits what bots can do. For example, deleted messages cannot be brought back by any bot, and a backup restores channels, ranks and permissions, not message history.

4. Permissions

When you invite a bot, Discord shows which permissions it asks for. We ask only for what the bot needs and explain why on the dashboard. If you give Otto Build full access (Administrator) for a job, it is meant to be temporary: the dashboard and a reminder in Discord ask you to hand it back afterwards. You can change or remove the bots' permissions at any time in your Discord server settings.

5. Free, premium and server builds

6. What is not allowed

You may not use Otto to: harass, raid or spam other servers or people; share illegal content or content that sexualises minors; get around Discord's rules or another server's moderation; overload, probe or attack our bots, website or infrastructure; or resell the service without our permission. We may remove the bots from a server, block a server, or refuse service when these terms are broken or when a server appears to be used for abuse. Where we can, we will tell you why.

7. Availability and changes to the service

We work hard to keep the bots online, but we cannot promise they will always be available or free of errors. Discord outages, maintenance and updates can interrupt them. We may change, add or remove features. If we remove something you paid for, we will offer a fair solution.

8. Liability

Otto is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage, lost data or lost members, or for what server members or other bots do. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for intent or gross negligence.

9. Stopping

You can stop at any time by removing a bot from your server (in Discord, or with “Remove from server” on the dashboard). Settings are kept so that inviting the bot again restores them; ask us if you want them deleted (see the Privacy Policy). We may stop offering Otto; if we do, we will announce it in advance where we can and refund premium time you paid for but cannot use.

10. Changes to these terms, and applicable law

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; for important changes we will give notice on this website. Dutch law applies. If you live in the EU, you keep the protection of the consumer law of your own country. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless the law says otherwise.
