Step by step, for the things that happen most

An account is posting scam links

Otto Guard notices when one account posts in several channels within seconds. It mutes a normal member, removes those messages and sends them a DM with what to do. Staff accounts are only reported.

• Under the red alert in your log channel: Unmute once they have their account back, or Ban.
• Ask them to log out everywhere, change their password and turn on 2FA.

Someone wrecked channels or ranks

• Otto Guard's emergency brake removes the person's ranks (on Standard and Strict). Under the alert: Give ranks back if it was a false alarm, or Ban.
• Then: your dashboard → Otto Guard → Backups → Restore…. You see what comes back before anything changes.

Lots of strangers are joining at once

On Standard and Strict, Otto Guard locks the server by itself: invites are paused. It opens again after the time you picked, or press Open server under the alert, or Open now on your dashboard, or type /lockdown with Off.

A bot is not responding

• Check Status first.
• All green? Open the bot on your dashboard: a missing permission shows as a cross, with one button to add it.

I do not like what Otto Build changed

Your dashboard → Otto Build → History → Undo. Everything goes back as it was.

I see an error code like OT-7K3F9Q
